Lemon Drop recipe

1/2 oz vodka
1/2 oz lemon juice
1 sugar cube

Add sugar to the rim of an old-fashioned glass, and drop a cube or packet of sugar into the bottom of the glass. Pour vodka and lemon juice into a stainless steel shaker over ice, and shake until completely cold. Pour into the prepared old-fashioned glass, and serve.

This was a very good shot. It was our first time of making a lemon drop shot and boy was it good. We will be having another one in about 15mins or so. LOL

1 part vodka to 1 part lemon juice? We thought that sounded like a bad combination, but OMG, that is the most sour, bitter tasting thing I have ever had. Stay away from this one!

Stayed at my friend's house in Manhattan. Hit up the bar, and he introduced me to the "Lemon Drop". Def. my favorite shot... had a few too many!!!

You can have a shot of vodka then bite into a lemon wedge covered in sugar. This way is yummy as well.

I had a Lemon Drop shot for the first time in NYC not too long ago and damn, it was excellent.... ordered about 8 or 9, delicious ! ! !

Freeze Ketel One vodka. Slice some lemons and get a cup of sugar. Pour the frozen vodka in a shot glass. Dip a lemon wedge in the sugar. After drinking the shot, take a bit out of the lemon. Yummie!

Oh my god it was good ! This drink saves you a lot of money instead of going to the bar. The lemon drop was very tasty and sweet and went down smooth. I'm also having another one as soon as i'm done typing.

If you use Black Cherry flavored vodka instead of regular it is also amazing. Take the shot of cherry vodka and then eat a lemon wedge that has been dipped in sugar! Enjoy!

I use lemon liqueur, instead of lemon juice, fresh squeezed lemons and use any old glass, rimmed with sugar.

This tasted BAD when I followed the recipe, although I loved it when I ordered it at the bar. It was too sour and too strong. I added more sugar to make it better but the sugar just settles at the bottom. I'm going to have to experiment with this to make it work.

This stuff was awesome, though i got pretty trashed from it. Probably because i was taking vodka shots and chasing with a lemon wedge..

We make this in a glass with simple syrup and add crushed Lemon Head candies to the rim rather than just normal sugar. Shake with ice and strain.

2 oz Citris Vodka
1 oz Simple Syrup
1/2 oz lemon juice
Garnish with a lemon twist

I get them from time to time, every bar I have went to they are always easy to get down, alittle sour after taste but nothing serious.
