1 1/2 oz vodka
4 oz cranberry juice
1 oz orange juice
1 lime wedge

Pour all ingredients (except lime wedge) into a highball glass over ice. Add the lime wedge and serve.

When I began trying mixed drinks, a waitress recommended this - one and a half drinks later my cheeks were numb and the room tilted. Just inexperienced.

Growing up I always mixed orange and cranberry juice together and everyone asked me what the hell I was doing. Then I started drinking and vodka turned out to be my liquor of choice. Can't tell you how pleased I was to find a great combination of the two.

My staple fruit highball and I'm always looking for ways to add to reinvent it.
